History

Mar-58 Fujiya Rubber Shokai, the predecessor of Kijima, is founded.
Start wholesale of rubber parts for motorcycles and furniture.
Apr-60 Move to Higashi-Tabata, Kita-ku, Tokyo and change company name to Toyo Tire & Rubber Co.
Jul-62 Move to Nishi-Nippori, Arakawa-ku, Tokyo.
Start selling rubber products for automobiles and motorcycles. (e.g.: mudguard, foot mat)
Apr-66 Sales territory is expanded to Osaka, Nagoya and Sendai. Commercialize oil seal set.
May-67 Incorporate and change the company name to Kijima Rubber Industries Co.
Apr-68 Build Nishi Arai Sales Office: a new plant to produce vinyl floor mats for light 3/4wheel vehicles.
Also move parts assembly dep. and sales dep. to present location.
Oct-70 Start to develop motocross parts and accessories under the guidance of Kinjiro Yajima and Shoji Murakami in motocross team "Johoku Riders" .
Start to sell press working, plastic processing and die-casting parts and accessories.
1975 Kijima Showroom: Company store open in Kita-ku, Tokyo. Mainly manage motocross parts/accessories.
1977 All departments except for Accounting (Arakawa-ku) move to Nishiarai Sales Office.

Get Japanese exclusive distributor of M.
May-82 Change company name to Kijima Corporation.
Aug-83 New brand "FEZANT" for leather overalls is created and start in Kijima showroom.
Jan-85 KISS RACING TEAM is organised.
Decide fluorescent pink as Kijima's image color and join in Suzuka 8-hours endurance race. KISS machine win a design award.
Create "KISS" brand and produce motorcycle racing parts and softwares/outfits.
Mar-88 KISS brand take part in motorcyle races and support automobile racing team "TOMS".
Apr-91 KISS brand start selling original parts for karts and jet skis.
Dec-91 Build a new four-story warehouse beside Sales office.
Oct-92 Change company name to Kijima Co., Ltd. and logo.
Oct-93 New brand "V-Twin Custom" is created for American style bike custom.
Feb-94 Contract as Japanese agency with CUSTOM CROME (USA) at platinum rank.
Feb-95 Propose new custom style for business motorcycle "CD50".
Jun-95 Get Japanese exclusive distributor of ARLEN NESS for Japanse American style bikes.
1996 Start custom parts sales to Yamaha Bike shops according to the launch of YB-1.
1997 Propose a new street custom style with "TW200".
Release "bolt on part": custom parts kit in which any nesessary parts united and attachable by screw.
1999 Kijima full custom VTR250 and CL400 are officially displayed on Honda's booth at Tokyo Motorcycle Show.
2000 Open Kijima own website.

2002 Propose Big Scooter custom KIJIMA style.
2003 Get distributorship agreement with MotionPro. (US Harley parts manufacturer).
Develop custom parts for VROD announced in Harley-Davidson 100th anniversary.
2004 Agree OEM parts contract with Suzuki. Limited unit (300 sets only) is display at the Tokyo Motorcycle Show 2003.(For ST250)

2005 Start to produce custom parts for foreign bike makers (e.g.: Ducati, Triumph).

Start joining MFJ Cup JP250 class
2016 Build Sales Engineering Center across Distribution Center (formar Sales office).
2018 KIJIMA KISS Racing Team: Season Champion in MFJCUP JP250 NAT.
